The Faithful Footfalls of the FATHER!

Romans 5:8 “But GOD shows HIS love for us in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us.”

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, scribes and sings.
Bringing life to those near death and warning to those souls near sleeping.
Bringing joy to those long broken and Love’s wisdom to those stumbling,
so each humbled, zealous servant to us all HIS favor brings.

Seen as footprints redirecting or as steps which press through Crisis;
so such Christians bind together with our journey — right beside us.
But mistaken without question, yea remiss I surely would be…
if these steps of mine fell separate from HIS path which was before me.

Now re-firming every footfall in HIS template prints embedded
within Scripture, so I scribe HIS lifelines to those wayward headed.
From the road towards Regret so too have I been been drawn by you…
within Love’s heart, compelled by CHRIST; with outstretched arms
— providing Rescue!

Therefore! Go the extra mile bound by ONE with sovereign strands;
re-loving those whose broken roads like ours…still rest within HIS hands!

Hallelujah! We praise THEE, LORD JESUS! Hallelujah! Amen and amen!

Devotional: Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as GOD in CHRIST forgave you.”

Footfalls are audible “footprints” being made. Faithful Footfalls then equate to CHRIST’s…always there for us. Through Triumph and Trial, HE never leaves nor forsakes us!! All glory to GOD! However…

“Written off” is the best term I can use to describe the offcast. The church today appears more so bent on reapplying weights and reminders of past sins far more so than the Truth that JESUS paid it all. More bent on leaving and forsaking those who stumble.

As such, though often “saints” gather to sing in church, this song sadly is reduced to no more than mere repetition.

In addition, going out to the Lost seems to mean only those who haven’t used up the Church’s “unwritten” rule of only one chance and perhaps two under EXTREME circumstances.

Beloved, the “Lost” are ALSO those Christians offcast by the Routine loving, Law embracing Body. Though that may sound harsh, none know how much said souls have agonized over their own mistakes. NONE. Including me most of all.

No one but GOD HIMSELF knows their heart, their brokenness and contrition. But do we stretch out to them…just as CHRIST stretched out to us in our dead and sinful condition?

JESUS plainly speaks of the 70 x 7 “second chances” in Matthew 18:21-22.

“Then Peter came to YESHUA and asked, “LORD, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times? And YESHUA said to him, “I do not say to you until seven times, but until seventy times seven each.”

Praise GOD for being the KING of Second Chances and New Beginnings!

You, Peter and I try to condition the statement with “up to seven times” as though that’s some accomplishment. But GOD! HIS blood through CHRIST’s sacrifice bought that cleansing for us so that we don’t have to remain on the path of Regret!

So STRETCH OUT NOW to those who have never known CHRIST BUT ALSO TO the off and outcasts who CHRIST gives abundant grace to! Now we Christians seem to enjoy categorizing and labeling sin from “little white lie” level to “inexcusable”.

This exercise is “inexcusable” itself and save the sin against the Holy SPIRIT” in Matthew 12:31-32, we are to forgive in love…and continue to do so without spite or going through the motions. We aren’t doormats but we are instructed to forgive. That effort requires us stretching out in love as the poem reminds us. Amen?

Lastly, don’t take offense for someone else. Don’t try to own it as if they offended or hurt you personally. Such is a selfish attempt at gaining attention.
It’s a “jumping on the bandwagon” in an purposed, visible attempt to distance themselves from the fallen as though they have a plague.

As though CHRIST stopped forgiving the broken and contrite.

My grief is that division continues rampantly running through church bodies. This practice is abhorrent AS IF pew-warmers are sovereign to redefine the limits of GOD’s forgiveness.

So let’s stop pretending to be ministers of HIS grace when our hearts will show differently…that we’re more happy being “ADMONSTERS” who lavishly administer the guilt, shame and punishment of sin to the fallen soul…over and over again.
Then singing loudly “Amazing Grace!” AS IF that’s what we just dumped on the already broken soul.

Hear me! This reminder and rebuke is MOST of all directed at myself. But take heed also to love as CHRIST’s WORD directs us and NOT as we CHOOSE to interpret IT.

Blessed be the NAME of our SAVIOUR and the Giver of second, third and endless opportunities to draw near to HIM with our prodigal hearts!

Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your Heavenly FATHER will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your FATHER forgive your trespasses.”
