Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the LORD at all times; HIS praise shall continually be in my mouth!”
FAR More Often!
One speaks of work
and another of
Health. A third of the
weather and then of
themselves.
Still others
complaining bring
Shame with their
actions…and join with
the countless whose
speech is lukewarm.
Even in silence so
bound is each voice
to “dialogues” found
which are absent of
CHRIST.
In the Day with 12
hours and Nighttime
the same skewed
ratios seen then
compared with HIS
praise.
Whether Morning,
Noon, Evening or
“Other”…oh Self!
Lift HIS NAME and
HIS accolades high!
Seek to lower “all other
percentages” prized for…
two thousand years past,
HE’s prepared for HIS bride!
HIS love is
outpoured; HIS
rewards are in hand.
Our LORD comes
for those watching in
Faith.
So raise every praise
even shouting most
zealous to GOD FAR
more often than just
….on Sunday!
As HIServant thankfully reminded that HE’s worthy of EVERY DAY Praises,

Devotional: Psalm 34:2-3 “My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt HIS NAME together.”
Psalm 71:8 My mouth is filled with YOUR praise, and with YOUR glory all the day.
Jonathan Cain keyboardist and rhythm guitarist for an 1980’s-ish popular band named Journey…also wrote the lyrics for some of their popular songs.
Two of which were “Faithfully” and “Open Arms.” At the time back then I just loved the songs but did wonder if there wasn’t some other, deeper meaning to the songs.
Well, there was! In the link below is his interview on “I am Second” which you can see here. (thank you to Hiliary Robinson) for posting the clip!)

But it was GOD leading him!
And even in those songs which countless fans which sing along without Faith in JESUS, Jonathan was praising the LORD!
So my point is simple!
Our words, the speech we most often use day in and day out…it is most telling!
When we “reserve” our greatest interest and highest zeal for other things, we essentially steal from the LORD.
HE is due our highest praise, our full attention on Sunday and every day we breathe. Yes?
Then let’s SPEAK more of HIM, let’s shout HIS praises far more often.
So, oh Self!
WORDS MATTER, they do, they do! Therefore!
Let’s put off the world’s distractions which so easily entangle and just set our hearts, eyes, mind and voices…on JESUS!
Psalm 145:2 “Every day I will bless YOU and praise YOUR NAME forever and ever.”
Psalm 86:12 “I will praise YOU, LORD my GOD, with all my heart; I will glorify YOUR NAME forever.”
Amen and amen!
Thank you! What a refreshing and timely Word!
