Called out of Neutral!

Matthew 26:40 “Then HE came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with ME one hour?”

Called out of Neutral!

Unlike a truck backing up to a
trailer, so CHRIST’s soon return
differs greatly.

Coming again is HE for those
expectant, whose vessels live
visibly — vibrant!

By pressing towards and not
backing into; then for HIS
rapture they actively watch!

So those “look-alike trailers”
with hearts “sleeping still”
I say, Wake! Yea, draw near
to the LORD!

Devotional: Matthew 26:45 “Then HE came to HIS disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting?”

So as we watch, serve and wait on the LORD’s return, there are others who need awakened to be doing the same.

Actions by and conversations with such statuesque “trailers” often point to a distracted mind and a divided heart.

Even after JESUS rebuked them for sleeping, HE came again and found them in the same state, the same position.

Matthew 26:40 “Then HE came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with ME one hour?”

So our words most of all tell others where our hearts are headed.

I pray then my words here posted, and also in sermon form, serve to shake the slumber from all.

Be fully awake in this hour for HE is expecting those who expect HIM!

Luke 18:7-8 “And shall GOD not avenge HIS own elect who cry out day and night to HIM, though HE bears long with them?

8 I tell you that HE will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will HE really find faith on the earth?”

While we can’t speak for the faith of others, we can be wide awake to display our faith in CHRIST!

So the renowned verse which has inspired souls since it was said,

Joshua 24:15c “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”

Arise! Let us be found very active in HIS service when HE comes!
