“Painting” with Grace!

Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”

“Painting” with Grace!

Restaining attempts have two flaws where someone feels their new sins must be given more crimson.

As if a fresh coat of paint does the trick! But CHRIST’s finished work tells us a much different story.

So the first error is where one believes more confessions will earn them more “make-up” to apply to themselves.

The second flaw then is to NOT extend grace to those saved and still failing…just like us, ourselves.

Which does include Self, every reader — inclusive! Yet not as some license to sin without guilt.

For HIS SPIRIT within both corrects and consoles us. As such, grave regret shines Shame’s light on our stains.

But I tell you this Truth! Each lies buried and cleansed because CHRIST paid the price for our stumblings.

Tetelestai! “Paid in full!” Therefore! No longer can one entertain such “repainting” ideas.

As such, back to Grace, which in contrast we lack in; forgiving with gaps and with endless conditions.

So! No more carry paint cans which serve for no purpose. Our SAVIOUR has done all that has to be done!

Instead! Pick up buckets of Grace for outpouring. Sin’s penalty — satisfied. Calvary’s work — wholly finished!

At last, “wash” yourself in HIS waters — Grace filled and find Mercy as well till the Rapture!

Devotional: James 4:6 “But HE gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD is opposed to the proud but gives Grace to the humble.”

Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”

It’s not more of HIS blood that’s needed but greater grace to be extended to others AND Self.

Else, an endless cycle of guilt and self shaming daily occurs when GOD tells us clearly in HIS WORD that we can COMPLETELY rest in HIS sovereignly finished work.

So the only addition is giving out more Grace!

Tell brothers and sisters, friends and new faces…”CHRIST has paid it all!” So paint Grace with HIS love!
