Fanning HIS Fire!
Going back to the beginning must mean our CREATOR…to WHOM, as our AUTHOR, we owe everything.
Yes returned to our starting line breaths are we found…no more lost in the crowds of distracting “All else”.
So our “origin story” is filled with HIS mercies which spark each of us for the Journey ahead.
So fan into flames HIS Fire given to you…from the very beginning; square one!

Devotional: Luke 24:32 “They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while HE was speaking to us on the road, while HE was explaining the Scriptures to us?”
Yes, somewhat confusing to say someone who lacks zeal for Christ to suddenly put on a large display of it.
What typically happens is their spontaneous “sugar rush” wears off and the soul in question goes back to what once was.
It’s almost like a “momentary lapse of worldly reason” occurs till CHRIST’s light is embraced at last.
Like the grass which quickly withers and fades, so is the ungrounded soul who substitutes faith IN this life as their faith FOR CHRIST.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19 “Rejoice at all times. 17 Pray without ceasing.
18 Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is GOD’s will for you in CHRIST JESUS.
19 Do not extinguish the Spirit.”
So! My encouragement is to go back to our own root structures.
When GOD shines HIS light upon our seed, and with the nurturing and watering BY others, still HE alone gives the increase.
Psalm 34:5 “Those who look to HIM are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.”
So we have to regularly look at our root structures to make sure that we haven’t been unconsciously re-transplanted into the temporary soil of this world.
By daily, confirming, our route location, we can grow deeper into HIS WORD and more zealous for HIS NAME!
Our growth above ground then, well watered by the LORD at the roots,
…means HE can even light our Life’s bush on fire, and we’ll never burn out nor fade away!
Exodus 3:2 “And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed!”
So stay lit and burning brightly for HIM till HE comes!
