Walking like Momma; following GOD!
Momma always shows me how to hold the Good WORD close.
Always saw her always resting in those pages which HE wrote.
She is someone who’s devotion to the LORD still knows no bounds.
So I’m proud to be her son still chasing HIM WHO made the clouds!
‘Cuz from there one day HE’s coming; oh from Heaven’s shores,
I know…
…so I’ll serve GOD like my mother does until HE calls us Home!

Devotional: Proverbs 1:8b-9 “…do not forsake the teachings of your mother. 9 For they are a garland of grace on your head and a pendant around your neck.”
The first part of verse 8 also reminds us to listen to our fathers’ instructions but right there also is the wisdom of our mothers to learn from as well.
A GODly mother (and father) is a most precious gift from HIM.
So I’ve learned from two GODly mothers Alberta my mom and from my wife, Sherry, as well.
And that’s to hold the Good WORD close…AND always open!
