These Worthy Pains!

1 Peter 2:20 “For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with GOD.”

These Worthy Pains!

When the stripes of pain 

fall faster than raindrops 

and much harder than stone…

then we oft question “Why

must I bear this – ongoing?”

When Silence still stings

with the Void closing in…

and the vise of Despair

steals every last breath…

we repeat, “Why is this so?”

Then the FATHER reminds

that this path bears HIS will.

Though Life’s dungeon so dark

which your spark has stolen..

But GOD! HE is working through you.

For what we can’t see

are souls intersecting

brought by CHRIST to our side

to observe our dilemmas and

realize that “They too!” need HIM.

So take one more breath

and re-bandage your wounds.

Though this painful, oh Self…

it is not about you but for GOD

who weaves all for our good!

Matthew 5:11 “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of ME.”

Matthew 10:22 “You will be hated by all because of MY NAME, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved!”

Whenever I’m going through intense struggles, no matter what kind, I’ve often asked “Why, GOD?” 

But the longer HIS patient purpose extends this life of mine, the more I realize this.

It’s that the threaded intersections of all our strands have far greater meaning than just what happens to me.

In fact, it’s what HE plans for me and you THROUGH these intersections…regardless of whether it’s filled with suffering or not. 

That’s the NET NET and worth suffering through because of HIS promise to work all things together for our good – together. 

Heaven’s Fabric yet again!
