John 17:17 “Sanctify them by the truth; YOUR WORD is truth!”
Entirely Non- Fiction!
“Based on a true story” never means that the book is just truth.
Just because man’s foundations appear accurate, doesn’t mean they’ll continue building accurately.
So regardless that the beginning holds true to the original account, it’s all about consistency.
Meaning: Does every page wholly reflect Truth?
Revelation 22:18 “I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, GOD will add to them the plagues described in this book.”
So the Bible isn’t just based on a true story and it’s not just the greatest story ever told.
Every HOLY SPIRIT driven word we read IS truth.
However, man has corrupted the text by exalting himself within several translations.
By editing out GOD’s sovereignty, by reducing the importance of one’s total heart surrender, they have falsely elevated man’s “free will”.
So the real and only Truth is that our GOD reigns!
HE is in exclusive control and HE bids us FOLLOW HIM and not pridefully create our own paths and claim that our ways are HIS!
Not at all! Such error is just fiction.
It’s a lie.
So we must walk only in HIS steps and remain bent low in HIS service.
In this way, all who witness our lives will know just HIS Truth …and not our versions of it.
John 14:6 “JESUS said to him, “I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME.”
