Luke 12:15 “And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of their possessions.”
Our “Empty-Handed” Treasure!

Surrendering Will and the wants of this Flesh, are the most blest of losses to have.
Like a gain which increases, so too are things shed! Yea, the sins of our vessels — whole cleansed.
So rather than seeking the things of this life, give up such which keeps your hands from praying!
Drop everything then to get down on your knees and “gain greatest” with empty hands lifted!
As HIServant reminded and reminding to empty myself daily of all but HIS “things”,
Whitney
Devotional: Matthew 16:26 “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”

Sing with me…
“I’ll surrender half.
I’ll surrender some.
That’s the “all” I’ll give YOU,
JESUS…so I’ll surrender some.”
What if…those were the words to that song we all know? Would we be inspired?
Would we be found faithful aligning our lives with those lyrics?
Our walk with CHRIST isn’t measured by fancy suits, cars or possessions. Yet!
The world has convinced countless souls that’s how GOD’s measuring stick works.
It’s nice to have things but is our soul truthfully willing to surrender it ALL just to spend time with HIM?
Countless distractions exist clamoring to fill our hands and confuse our minds.
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness, and all these things will be added to you!”
So let’s be quickest to empty ourselves of this life and bear witness of HIS…WHO is coming!
Amen and amen!
