Chasms call for bridges to discover their gaps…to fill in each void with so firm a foundation.
Not just for crossing the Jordan but to build out a path like was shown at that Sea where the Israelites crossed.
So GOD sent HIS SON to grant passage to us o’er the canyons of sin — once for all — for the Lost!
Whom we all once were till Salvation’s robe clothed us…when crimson-scarred hands placed HIS grace on our shoulders.
Thank GOD then Eternal life’s bridge IS CHRIST’s cross!

Devotional: Matthew 16:15-17 “ HE said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “YOU are the CHRIST, the SIN of the living GOD.”
JESUS replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by MY FATHER in heaven.”
It’s all about HIM and nothing else matters save CHRIST’s sacrifice for our sins.
Ultimately HE’s the only, wholly sufficient and perfectly cleansing sacrifice acceptable to GOD.
As our sovereign bridge which we could not even cross over in our own strength, so rejoice, Beloved!
We shall behold HIM face to face one day soon because HE connected us…to HIMSELF!
