Fit for The KING!
There’s a feeling of bittersweet emotions
when we think of HIS face AND the visage of souls.
Those gladdened to see their REDEEMER at last and those left behind as the lost in this world.
And sadly those also whose gaze bears Surprise; those whose compromise birthed absent Zeal.
So as bittersweet flavors their lives are to CHRIST, WHO tastes and sees such “are not good.”
For they left their first love for such earthly attentions and cared for their walk more than HIS.
So, oh Self! Be the sweetest of savors to JESUS: The aroma of Faith to HIM give as your due!
For the Feast known as Trumpets is coming most quickly, so live as an offering…fit for THE KING!

Devotional: Ephesians 5:2 “And walk in love, as CHRIST loved us and gave HIMSELF up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to GOD.”
Revelation 19:16 – “On HIS robe and on HIS thigh HE has a NAME written, KING of kings and LORD of lords!”
We will soon sit at the KING’s banqueting table! But the food there for us isn’t necessarily HIS main interest!
I humbly suggest that those lives surrendered and “sold out” for CHRIST ARE the sweet savors which
will fill all of Heaven… to HIS Glory and Credit!
So let us keep doing those works which HE purposed us bake with and BE the best flavor that’s fit for our KING!
