John 17:6a “I have revealed YOUR NAME to those YOU have given ME out of the world.”
In, Never Of!
Separate ingredients sometimes co-exist. Others immediately conflict, ignite or dissolve into one.
But such oppositions aren’t worthless or always meant to be avoided.
For instance, if fuel was never sparked, no combustion would take place.
No such engines would start and horses would then be our main source of transportation.
But GOD meant for certain ingredients to be mixed together for their end product or final result.
How much more so the Crossroads of Calvary!
What great contrast between Good and Evil existed at that very intersection?
But GOD brought that event to its conclusion as CHRIST rose from the grace, defeating Death and every enemy force!
How ironic that it took CHRIST willingly giving up HIS earthly life for us to birth…the greatest rescue!
Hallelujah! So as separate ingredients we are compared with the world.
To the darkness we then bring both HIS salt and light as a sweet savor to the broken who are hungry.
But we’re also a stench to those following satan’s directions. Those who are willingly filled with just ingredients of this life.
So know that you were NEVER meant to co-exist as a tolerant addition to recipes of the wicked!
Be SEPARATE! We are NOT meant to “fit in” but to stand up for HIS Truth alone!
John 17:6b-9 “They were YOURS; YOU gave them to ME, and they have kept YOUR WORD. 7 Now they know that everything YOU have given ME comes from YOU.
8 For I have given them the words YOU gave ME, and they have received them. They knew with certainty that I came from YOU, and they believed that YOU sent ME.
9 I ask on their behalf. I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those YOU have given ME; for they are YOURS.”
So be those shining light upon sin; calling out error, repenting of our own mistakes and NEVER diminishing HIS beacon inside of us. Ever!
Be then HIS “called out ones” — every day!
