A ready CHRIST follower, by definition, admits that they cannot lead themselves.
In contrast, a slumbering member
of the Faith…tries to.
Those closest to CHRIST then are steadfastly watching HIM, from behind or beside HIS presence.
So those errantly trying to advance ahead of HIM usually wind up…at a growing distance.
Consequently, the soul moving the most isn’t always doing the most.
Hence the phrase, “Don’t mistake activity …for accomplishment.”
With this accurate assessment, spiritually applicable the most,
let us not deceive ourselves otherwise.
Yea, may we walk humbly and contritely, only in the steps HE just left!
