Isaiah 9:7c “The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this!”
With HIS Zeal!
GOD’s steps for you are not meant for another. HIS footprints lead onward; uniquely and sovereign.
In truth, so specific is each that HE planned them before there was you…and ahead of all Time.
Thus stand still at this moment; with Faith then proceeding…so your following steps match with HIS…righteous zeal!

Devotional: Romans 12:11 “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the LORD.”
Sounds like, “Follow the Leader, Follow CHRIST!”
Well, that’s half of the story. Consider directions.
Turning right can simply be a knee-jerk reaction…just like any another movement change.
But GOD!
HIS purpose behind such re-directions is the ultimate “Why?” for our lives.
Now often we don’t immediately see or sometimes ever find out the depths of HIS sovereign will for us.
And that’s where Faith must be daily exercised so that it “kicks in” when we need it the most.
So! Beyond easily seeing HIS footprints is found the sight of those who study rigorously and steadfastly.
Such souls know the despairs of Joseph, David, Esther, Elijah, Jeremiah, Moses, Mary and many others.
And! Their examples follow CHRIST’s…zeal. They pressed on. Though stumbling at times, they kept going.
It’s basic enough to engage CHRISTianity with a “turn by turn” mentality.
It’s also insufficient.
Let us remember what the disciples remembered in John 2:17 when CHRIST made a whip and thrust out the money changers and lawless religious pretenders.
“HIS disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for YOUR house will consume ME.”
So! Intentionally, quickly and sacrificially pause as soon as you wake every day.
Pray earnestly while resetting your zeal levels to match HIS…before you take even one step.
Move wholly then with the heart of GOD and not just the “routine following perceptions” of religion, amen?
As such, HIS zeal embedded and engaged by each of us, will bring rewards.
Yes! For both ourselves and for those moved by our fervent expressions!
Again GOD will move through our relentlessly obedient vessel as Isaiah 9:7c becomes more and more real to us.
“The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this!”
