Meat over Minutia!
Do you go to church just to hear HIS WORD — broken? Do you press through trials, as such, each LORD’s day?
To reach its front door and glean bread from the Scriptures, do you come for HIS holy content — conveyed?
I humbly submit HIS NAME is in each Bible, each hymnal and bulletin printed as well.
Mine isn’t (nor yours) so what drives our compulsion to meet in a building each week? Yes! What for?
For new seed to be nourished and bolstered in Faith; to be poured out for others as HIS hands direct.
But greatest is learning what HIS WORD is speaking! Though all equal seem, this stands over the rest!
So question your motives, oh Self, for the LORD knows the heart.
Therefore, come to hear HIM, and greatly mature!

Devotional: Hebrews 6:1 “Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of CHRIST and go on to MATURITY, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward GOD…”
Short point: By HIS NAME we are called and to do HIS bidding, we are drawn.
To: Eat the meat of HIS WORD and to give such to others in this season of unrest.
Daily consuming Scripture and growing then is the value of HIS meat over all of our minutia.
Hebrews 5:13 “For everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.
Sacrificially pressing in then to learn and share IS most valuable and victorious above all. How so? Because!
HE is coming! Behold, the KING of Zion is coming quickly! So!
Psalm 104:27 “These all look to you, to give them their food in due season.”
Let all be mature then, delivering the meat of HIS WORD and being zealous for HIS NAME!
