Love’s Second Scale!
In a vision, a scribe of twelve thousand thoughts written carried each ink-filled page with him to Heaven.
Expectantly certain, when weighed on the scales…of exceeding GOD’s number assigned for good works.
But when both were measured, his content was lacking. In fact, the gap was — quite significant — pressing.
So the man, more than silent, fell crushed by the visual. Soon lost was all Hope beneath great, tidal waves of Despair.
Then a hand touched his face to uplift the spirit. In view was another scale coming towards him.
Again laid his heart’s full intentions on one side On the other, as a towering mass was his sin.
But before the scale buckled beneath this huge burden…he bowed to the ground thus propelled by the shame.
Awaiting the thunderous crash which was pending so great his surprise when no clamor was raised!
With one opened eye, looking through his own fingers…he gasped at the Sight! All his sins held no weight!
And in place of his efforts stood CHRIST’s crimson blood! Oh the Peace! What relief now coursed through this servant!
Accepted and cleansed, so he stood in white robes…before HIM WHOSE sacrifice paid all Sin’s debt.
Then the SAVIOUR, with love, spoke — assuring HIS child. “I stepped in. Therefore no condemnation is yours!
In this dream, so the man felt unspeakable Joy. “But…what of the first scale’s measure?”, he asked.
(Spoke the LORD)
“Such was shown you to know that I AM — sufficient!
For what you could not earn is why I rose with Grace.
All the crossroads I brought you to had some wrong turns…
…as the pages you penned weren’t done always for ME.
Yet MY perfect love sees each time when you did.
So rewards I’ve brought with ME! MY Child…well done!”

“Love’s Second Scale” is a vision where that measuring station, if you will, shows us HIS Truth.
HE paid it all. ALL!
So our works are as filthy rags on the first scale…which is the Law.
Even if there’s thousands of instances where we’ve used our gifts for GOD…
that doesn’t mean each was done with a humble heart and the right intentions.!
So those works done for HIM which are absent of Pride will be surely rewarded!
On Love’s Second Scale, there we find HIS blood has paid eternally for us!
Matthew 25:23 “His MASTER replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your MASTER!’
So I long with you also to hear “ Child, well done!”
