HIS Bulletproof Ways!
Dodging bullets
assumes someone
else shot the gun.
Else the distance —
too short — to avoid
them.
Regardless it isn’t a wise
exercise because many
die from such spans
— shortened.
So saying the phrase,
“Oh! Some left us too soon!”
surely misses this truth;
“GOD is sovereign!”
As such, trust CHRIST’s
timing and purposed
designs for the shield of Faith
saves us…from ourselves!

Devotional: Psalms 28:4 “The LORD is my Strength and my Shield; My heart trusts in HIM, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank HIM!”
Sometimes we shoot ourselves in our own foot. Self inflicted spiritual bullet wounds are far too common.
So when we lower or worse yet drop our shield of Faith, such injuries occur.
Consequently every absence of total reliance on HIM WILL cause problems.
Such will lower our sword and shield, leaving us open to outside attacks AND self-inflicted wounds.
So as GOD promises tell us regarding length of days in Proverbs 3:1-4…
“My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; 2 for they will add length to your days, years and peace to your life.”
3 “Never let loving devotion or faithfulness leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
4 “Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of GOD and man.”
Therefore, don’t fight HIS Bulletproof Ways but rather walk in them and HIS righteous steps always!
