Ephesians 6:18 “Pray in the SPIRIT at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints.”
Sacred Relief!

Spiritual hand-to-hand combat is
what this hour feels like;
armed just with the WORD and HIS armor.
Ever grappling with those forces which Flesh cannot fathom, so comes soul Fatigue from such battles.
So here down on our knees is HIS strength found — renewing!
LORD! Raise us anew THROUGH our struggles!
With fresh healing, please bless us, repairing our vessels…
as we clasp our hands thus in prayer!
As HIServant still watching with growing excitement through our fight against battle fatigue,

Devotional: Psalm 107:28 “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and HE brought them out of their distress!”

The saying goes for us as believers, “We are strongest when we fight on our knees.”
Coupled with crying out to JESUS is the visual of our hands clasped together in effectual, fervent prayer.
This pairing creates the imagery for how spiritual warfare must be relentlessly fought.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing!”
Combined with a heart desperately seeking HIS own, so we will find the blessing of HIS promise.
Found in Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to [walk with GOD and] please HIM, for whoever comes [near] to GOD must [necessarily] believe that GOD exists and that HE rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek HIM.”
Yes, our battle is waged, hand-to-hand against darkness but not against flesh.
Rather HIS angels are sent to combat those of satan who both gather around us.
Here’s another phrase which speaks to this as a blessed reminder of the value of our souls.
“How priceless is the soul that violent, spiritual battles are fought (moment by moment) over us for control.”
So with our praying hands and hearts connected, let us help each other rise in HIS service this morning!
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD.
And the peace of GOD, which transcends all understanding, WILL guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS.”
Beloved, the battle IS already won as HE promised!
So, as HIS united saints, let us keep going for GOD — marching on!
Amen and amen.
