yet falling short
with Unbelief…
Still are Self’s
As their own “rock”:
who — lost — remain.
unchanging.
So The ROAD
which they must cross
from Lost to Found
requires all.
Therefore Self
and listeners all;
“Surrender you!”
…in JESUS’ NAME!

Devotional: Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to ME, ‘LORD, LORD’, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of MY FATHER in heaven.
22 Many will say to ME on that day, LORD, LORD, did we not prophesy in YOUR NAME, and in YOUR NAME drive out demons and perform many miracles?’
23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I NEVER knew you; depart from ME, you workers of lawlessness!’
What’s the problem here? These people were saying they were healing and casting out demons.
Isn’t that what the LORD said of those of HIS? See Mark 16:17-18.
“And these signs shall follow them that BELIEVE; In MY NAME shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
LOOKS like they’re HIS; SOUNDS like they’re HIS. But in Matthew’s passage, they weren’t!
To our devotional title today, “Surrendering Unbelief!”…it’s ALL ABOUT the Heart!
The devil can mimic GOD‘s work but not duplicate it.
How many televangelists have you seen or heard to have apparently healed someone…
…only to have a news report come out that it never happened?
Camera angles, actors in the pulpit and on stage and many other forms of deception often appear to support the false claims in Matthew.
But GOD!
HE clearly defines unbelieving casual Acceptance of HIS existence differently than whole-hearted and surrendered Belief.
So make no mistake.
GOD looks at the heart and calls us daily to “Lay it all down!” in obedience to HIS call!
Yes, let us give all of us in Humility and Contrition…to CHRIST alone!
