Psalm 143:8 “Let me hear in the morning of YOUR steadfast love,
for in YOU I trust. Make me know the way I should go,for to YOU I lift up my soul.”
More like THEE!

Say something different which still doesn’t pain me.
Preach with Insistence of things which won’t change me.
Then I’ll fill your plates and give funds to your “kingdom”.
Though our pockets may bulge yet we’ll fail with such incomes.
For GOD is not mocked! Thus “self service“ shall slay those…
…whose ears itch for comfort — dislodging their halos!
So yea, LORD! Correct us till broken we be!
Then YOUR will we’ve each fought shall become all we need!
As HIServant now finally echoing our SAVIOUR, “Not my will but THINE be done!”,

Devotional: Zechariah 1:3 “Therefore say to them, Thus declares the LORD of hosts: Return to me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts.”
What a resounding proof text! Hallelujah!
Desire HIM and daily draw closer to HIM and HE will draw closer to us.
But often, when we feel the tug of the HOLY SPIRIT, we have an errant, pre-planned response.
So often our flesh just wants soothing and flattering words without any cost. But such is harmful to us.
It’s like the quote from Steven Covey and other authors who similarly penned such words.
“Listening with the intent to respond.”
As such, if we even subtly refuse GOD’s loving voice of correction and actively reject HIS hands redirecting our lives…
…then are we any different than the lukewarm?
Aren’t we just choosing our paths over HIS?
Then if we regularly favor comfort in versus sacrifice for CHRIST,
then aren’t we ultimately stagnating versus growing in GOD?
As such, Today’s battles and struggles must be directly addressed.
This is done through our willful and uncompromising surrender to GOD’s perfect ways.
Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek ME and find ME when you search for ME with all your heart!”
Do not leave us then to our own choices or devices, LORD JESUS…
…but rather ever draw us through the storms of this life to be daily changed…more like THEE!
I Chronicles 16:10-11 “Glory in HIS holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!”
“Seek the LORD and HIS strength; seek HIS presence continually!”
Amen and amen!
