We have not suffered to shedding of blood yet our scars self inflicted show we injured self.
Meaning: We weren’t attacked for the NAME of our SAVIOUR. Instead, what we casually chose harmed ourselves.
So bind up the strongman whose spirit oppresses; Yes, chain him with CHRIST’s sovereign power within!
For their signature seen is in sins oft repeated. So tear down each stronghold; yea! Tie up those demons!
For all sacrifice which we make for the LORD shall be surely rewarded since HE sets us free!

So how best do we attach such darkened strongholds?
Through fervent prayer! Through zealous pleas!
Through selfless devotion!
Therefore! Lay down every burden, cast off all sins, bind up each strongman and serve GOD relentlessly!
