Yet complaint and denial more often are heard! Even these lips are guilty with such…
…looking at what others have in the hands rather than all the presents which come with HIS love.
Forgotten is what we’ve already been given and our hearts fail to live with Content.
So rather than asking for any such thing, LORD, I pray to — with YOU — simply rest.
As HIServant choosing to be content with such things as HE’s given,

Now note that it’s a learned trait to be content.
Our flesh is not naturally content, amen?
So we must train our tongue, oh Self!
Ask rather for the gift of Content and not Contempt…regarding the sum of what HE’s placed in our hands.
We are most blessed as HE always resides within us!
So thank for this breath to praise YOUR NAME and to serve YOU another day!
