Cross Winds!
What oft do we face as card carrying members
of HIS chosen Body? In one word…Rejection.
Even amongst zealous fellow believers, the battle still rages with fires — relentless.
Even in service for those who feel worthless, at times we are met with fierce winds.
But GOD! HIS commission sends us to do thus…regardless the storm and in spite of ourselves!
Face into those gusts and each gale force then! Let the proof be displayed by your stance for the LORD!

Devotional: Deuteronmy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your GOD WHO goes with you. HE will not leave you or forsake you!”
When I saw this picture, i immediately thought of the obvious words which came to mind.
Cross. Winds.
The visible ice spoke to me as opposition and rejection.
Then the direction of the ice being shown blown BEHIND the cross…
…spoke to me as to CHRIST’s endless
conquering strength!
It’s like Oliver Wendell Holmes said so well .
“To reach a port we must sail, sometimes with the wind, and sometimes against it. But we must not drift or lie at anchor!”
When we must face these often daily winds of opposition, we do so with zeal to press on for the LORD. Amen?
Drifting aimlessly through this life produces no display from us…for HIM.
Yes, at certain times we must cling to CHRIST our anchor until the storm passes.
Even so, we must face into every wind sent by the darkness to stop us AND…
…flow with each gust the LORD gives to further our steps!
So be wise to discern these times and prepare according.
Since our enemy creates countless physical and word attacks…be bold and courageous!
Face into the storm with The ONE WHO controls every wind and wave!
