Five Titles!

Philippians 2:25 “I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need…”

Five Titles!

We call upon others with names or with titles. Even “family” or “friend” can be one and the same.

Thus we beckon to each with familiar words which are not bound exclusive to being ”just one”.

But this is our failing and where we stay stagnant! We oft label souls with our present opinions.

As such, their potential lies dormant — uncalled! Or at least it’s unheard when we bury our echoes!

For so HE commanded we repeat HIS message! Call all to repentance and then to keep climbing!

So “Say it again!” for those bound by one title. Lift those branded “loser”, “outcast” and “No good”.

Yea, give them five titles of worth from HIS WORD! Companion, Believer, Friend, Family… Beloved!

As HIServant in your service calling out to you with the love of JESUS,

Devotional: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing”.

I was reading Philippians 2 this morning and immediately resonated with verse 25!

Paul DIDN’T just say he was sending out a guy was helping him…to go help the church at Philippi.

He gave 5 titles which show us, which tell us what?

That Paul valued Epaphroditus beyond casual words or titles.

That Paul knew his heart and felt by sending this man that the church would be greatly blessed by the skills and care GOD had given to him.

So when we call on others, we might say they’re serious, stoic, funny, smart, etc etc.

But I encourage one and all to use words which evoke oneness in the Body to spark further their sense of belonging!

Therefore, Beloved of our LORD and myself! Speak life through GOD’s titles to others this day!

Amen and amen!
