Standing in Place!
Though we’ve asked for release, YOUR silence says “Stay.” Though Discomfort attacks, YOUR WORD says, “Remain”.
Though Angst fuels Life’s fires, YOUR waters have quenched them.
Though Fear tries re-light some, YOUR blood does not let them.
So moment by moment we’re kept by THY loving in most sovereign hands with eternal commissions!
Though following THEE might mean standing in place yet we know, in YOUR footprints, our answers await!

So it’s all about waiting with patience and sincere and total surrender to HIM.
I’ve had countless days where Life’s flood waters appeared ready to drown me.
Have you? Surely the best thing and most logical “next step” would be to instantly move to Higher Ground.
Even so, our faith is rarely stretched by the avoidance of such trials.
Rather! We experience HIS power and purpose through us when, having done all…we stand! (Ephesians 6:13)
Remember how GOD led the Israelites with HIS cloud by day and pillar of fire by night?
We too do well then to wait patiently in GOD’s perfect presence and to commune with HIS perfect heart. Amen?
So! Stand faithfully in HIS steps, oh my soul, and wait, I say!
Yes! Wait there…on The LORD!
