Measuring with the MASTER!

Romans 12:11: “Do not be slothful in zeal, but be fervent in spirit. Serve the LORD!”

Measuring with the MASTER!

How great is this hour; How wondrous each second! There’s no grave to fear for we’re bound in HIS presence!

Never leaving nor ever forsaking our souls, so give praise to the ONE WHO bears sovereign control!

So know this! Our GOD gave us time to bear fruit! So praise HIM for this life to such treasures — produce!

Yea, CHRIST’s priceless gift in us: share with those blinded! AND also those saved so they too are reminded!

As HIServant eternally grateful for GOD’s great patience with me to daily carry my own cross as HIS witness to all,

Devotional: Romans 6:4 “We were buried therefore with HIM by baptism into death, in order that,

…just as CHRIST was raised from the dead by the glory of the FATHER, we too might walk in newness of life.”

The question is: “What are doing in and with our GOD given “newness of life”?

The LORD says in HIS WORD that the fields are ripe but the workers are few.

So I want to share in this devotional a reminder. This is directed towards Self most of all

Have you considered the priceless gift of GOD’s Timing?

Because!

When we realize our own complacency and apathy, our hearts must compare our activity today for HIM… versus the past.

Consider the reminder found in Romans 10:2.

“For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for GOD, but not according to knowledge.”

We see needless accidents and foolish activities which lead to them and often hear,

“They used to have so much more life” or ultimately, “they died too soon.”

Truth is the efforts that could have been done in our SAVIOUR’s NAME were greatly reduced or even “died” within that person.

This comes from the heart denying the direction of the HOLY SPIRIT, doesn’t it?

Speaking then only for myself: “Am I measuring my steps and progress with HIS…every day?”

”Am I gauging whether my progress is actually happening or if it’s become stagnant?”

Why this matters as we draw near to Resurrection Day is that many have blurred vision as to the comparison.

As such, many have taken their steps at present as being “good enough” and as having “done enough “ already.

Sadly such souls are now BLIND to the work that yet lies ahead for each believer.

The consequence is that urgency of service is now absent and Zeal has been exchanged for “back of the battle comfort zones.”

May we daily read and compare our lives with CHRIST’s to make the most of each day in HIS service.

Let us not just read ABOUT sacrificially serving JESUS but be actively and sacrificially found IN HIS service, amen?

Beloved, the time is so very short so — arise!

Let us be going as HIS living reflections and zealous testimonies!

Amen and amen.
