Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with MY righteous right hand.”
Staying With!
Being “so far gone” suggests a distance out of range.
Such “road positions”, thus implied, lay past the reach of change.
But GOD! Yea, give HIM glory WHO retrieved our souls with Love.
When no human hand held onto ours, HE saved by HIS blood!
So return to CHRIST with haste, Beloved, before HIS arm extends
…because the greatest Joy is staying WITH our SAVIOUR, LORD and Friend!

Devotional: 1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS HIS SON cleanses us from all sin!”
I’m drawn to the parable of the 99 sheep and the 1 who strays who CHRIST comes to rescue.
Most often we review the joy of the one who HE returns to the fold.
There is great relief because HE intervenes!
But I submit to you that the 99 who stayed have the greater joy of Endurance.
Hebrews 12:1 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely,
…and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…”
The peace and security of standing in CHRIST and on HIS WORD daily is unmatched.
The daily refresher of reading, believing and sharing GOD’s Gospel‘s truths is the extreme privilege of those who stay with HIM.
Abiding in CHRIST is then the closest we can be and to leave only invites correction and grief.
So let us stay with the 99 in fellowship as well as go with GOD to find the 1 who has strayed.
Let us value the Body of CHRIST highly so others want to stay with us, together staying with our SAVIOUR!
