Proverbs 19:2 “Even zeal isn’t good without knowledge, and he who hurries his footsteps misses the mark.”
Avoiding the Gold Rush!

What storehouses teem with things “shiny” yet worthless? Whose owners keep gathering more with such haste?
What then when the time comes to audit its value and what was thought “priceless” is counterfeit gold”?
Even so are collections in temples of clay where one’s zealous behaviors are noted as great.
Yet Knowledge is lacking just as the fool’s treasures until he is found without substance to hold!
So quickly surrender all pride from your storehouse. Instead with a disciplined pace, collect Wisdom!
For such nuggets of worth are just found with the prudent whose footprints lead others towards our LORD’s kingdom!
So examine yourself, oh CHRISTian, this Day and be wholly devoid of shiny fool’s gold!
As HIServant with spiritual microscope in hand daily examining my temple for HIS treasures,

Devotional : Proverbs 19:8 “He that procures wisdom loves himself; and he that keeps wisdom shall find good.”
Wikipedia: “The mineral pyrite/ˈpaɪraɪt/ PY-ryte or iron pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, is an iron sulfide with the chemical formula (iron (II) disulfide).
Pyrite is the most abundant sulfide mineral.”
Did you catch that?
The MOST abundant sulfide mineral!
Meaning: It doesn’t require anywhere near the discipline or effort to find it.
Did you also know that sin defined means “missing the mark”?
So WITHOUT the knowledge of CHRIST, every rapid effort to gain earthly success cannot fill our spiritual warehouses.
Driven by pride and haste, so the process of determining if something has GODly value is unwisely cut short.
So carefully weigh all substance, every thought and each intention.
Filter your life daily then and cast out any Trojan horse pyrite disguised as GODLY discernment!
Amen and amen!
