Laying Up Treasures!
“Paradise lost” marks the end of this life and begins greatest joy found with GOD.
“Heaven regained” shall our souls shout with rapture where “HIS Promise fulfilled!” fills our souls!
So look no more downward to passing attractions! Such shall not come with us to Glory!
For the endpoint of life shall transfer us to CHRIST! Therefore “Paradise!” is…still to come!

Devotional: Matthew 6:20 “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
It’s impossible to elevate our focus predominantly on Heaven’s riches when our hearts are yet in love with this world.
So, in order to do so, a soul must know CHRIST.
Not just “of HIM” but through a deeply personal and daily growing relationship.
Setting aside worldly cares and material things is indeed a difficult task.
Especially when one sums up all their time with GOD in the number of church services attended.
What about prayer? What about Charity outside of church which requires a time commitment ?
To have our cups overflowing to then pour out in others…
…needs to find us seeking HIS presence most and more often than the world!
Just as we put a glass under the water faucet to get it filled…
…so we must daily and hourly wait as CHRIST, our LIVING WATER, supplies all we need.
Turn away then from every earthly mirage claiming to be a water source.
Spiritually and ultimately they are demonic delusions seen as “shiny” distractions.
Know then the LIGHT SOURCE WHOSE life has given us who believe…eternal life!
Because! Only in HIS light will the treasures HE gives glow greatest!
