Tuning Into…
Searching the news as though peace increases the longer you watch…
Listening to everyone’s view as though that will give you the clearest vision…
Acting as though through such efforts you’ll decide the outcome…
So we are lulled into chaos.
For some argue the time and attention is needed but
it fuels some incessant desire for drivel.
As though all the “noise” creates feelings of value
and as if the volume of such should stay “High”.
But the soul must ignore all the circular motion,
abandoning frivolous worldly worry.
Trust alone in the LORD WHO births Hope through HIS WORD…
and serve others relentlessly
rather than Fear.
