Releasing Obedience!

Proverbs 4:26 “Give careful thought to the paths for your feet…and be steadfast in all your ways.

Releasing Obedience!

Take every thought captive in obedience to CHRIST WHOSE command bids our hearts…ahead of sacrifices.

With so fervent a filter then serve we the LORD…obeying HIM without Delay’s compromises.

For we are HIServants called higher — surrendered…as lambs redirected in love and with purpose.

As such, wait no more; neither linger in shadows and take HIS corrections far past your soul’s surface!

As HIServant’s reflection points back to me, “Choose obedience over sacrifice!”,

Devotional: Isaiah 55:8-9 “For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, says the LORD.”

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways, MY thoughts than your

thoughts.”

2 Corinthians 10:5-6 “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of GOD, and take every thought captive to obey CHRIST,

6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.”

We see that Paul speaks of doing what he hates and not doing what he should.

And doesn’t all flesh which wrestles with HIS new nature within, whisper some similar admission of guilt?

And doesn’t such thoughts lead back to compromise and delays of obedience?

If we’re honest and uncompromising, then the answer is “Yes!” and it’s found in faithful application.

But that can only be done by first being fully aware of and engaged in the deadly, spiritual war which is waged every day all around us.

Angels and demons clash heavily and viciously just for the opening to whisper into our ears…to then  influence us.

It’s about continuing to fight the good fight of Faith — OBEDIENTLY!

So stand today, oh my soul, and listen to the WORD of GOD calling us forward!

We must release every obedient thought while quickly taking captive all others! Amen?

So wholly trust and obey HIM then with every word, action…and thought!

Amen and amen.
