Language choices and
changes we make;
as our preference to
“dummy things down”.
With shortcuts and slang,
with words and with
blanks, so altered our
speeches are found.
Both elders and youth
disagreeing;
as to which verbiage is
most preferred.
So Meaning gets
dropped, Understanding
is lost with Clarity then…
rarely heard.
Therefore! Choose ye
well what is spoken;
Select every word with
HIS Wisdom!
Then Knowledge
transferred will no
more seem blurred…
…and we’ll lead souls
into Heav’ns Kingdom!

Devotional: Proverbs 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in YOUR sight, O LORD, my ROCK and my REDEEMER.”
I watched a professor in a large university talk to his communications class.
Instead of using the terms and words he was familiar with, he researched and wrote down his lesson using “Gen Z” language.
The students were surprised and laughed and hopefully saw the critical need for effective communication.
So my prayer is that as the HOLY SPIRIT translates our soul’s cry to the FATHER….
…may then the words of our mouths and the meditations of each heart choose language that always draws others to CHRIST!
