The Greatest Gain of Surrender!

Psalm 37:5: “Commit your way to
the LORD; trust in HIM, and HE
will act.”

The Greatest Gain of Surrender!

To lay down one’s life for
CHRIST is a singular matter.
To first offer up Pride is
entirely different.

One’s all, sacrificed, is
a permanent gesture,
while a temporal offering
of Self is far less.

Unless by HIS words one
lives wholly surrendered,
then there will be shortfalls
of service, at best.

Unless we lean solely on all
that HE’s done, then such
worry of Failure will plague
us with Debt!

So lay all of your Pride
and of Self wholly down
Daily willing to give till
all others are blessed!

As HIServant gaining more peace
through comparison and change
to be most like CHRIST,

Whitney

Devotional: Philippians 2:5-8 “You must have the same attitude that CHRIST JESUS had.

6 Though HE was GOD, HE did not think of equality with GOD as something to cling to.

7 Instead, HE gave up his divine privileges HE took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When HE appeared in human form,

8 HE humbled himself in obedience to GOD and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”

Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.” Meaning: Surrender to HIS will, HIS ways and HIS wisdom.

Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and HE will establish your plans.”

Meaning: Forfeit your actions and speech through prayer and obedience and HE will bring those plans of yours which are aligned with HIS…to pass.

Summary: Believe and wait on HIM.
Follow just HIS game plan, amen?

So yes, Acts 20:35 says it’s better to give than receive. Well known verse that isn’t applied in all the ways I believe that GOD meant it to be.

For instance, there’s gifts of Time, of Talent, of Financial Donation and more. But what makes all of such giftings valuable is the heart which
offers them!

Secular thought tells us to take but GOD teaches us to give. The world’s push is to be in total control while the LORD tells us to give it all to HIM.

Nothing new to this point. We know these things. Also that our hearts must be aligned with HIS in
every offering.

Else, just like the Pharisees who dropped in large deposits of the people’s money back into the
temple treasury which they’d rob from again…

…else we’d just be like them. And!

There’s no honor or credit to the soul whose percentage of pure motives for CHRIST are low and part-time at best.

So lay it all down AGAIN today at the Cross; Lift up the NAME of JESUS throughout every
hour and day.

Relish then in the great gains your heart shall experience through your humble and total Surrender to HIM, oh my Soul!

Amen and amen.
