The gap between “Highest!”
and just “one step down” is
much further than rulers
can measure.
Such space though appearing
as nearest and next is, in fact,
beyond distant and past
lesser pressure. So!
Those reaching the top have
a disciplined manner. They’ve
practiced through every
fatigue and distress.
They realize the lengths to
which they must excel and
with focused resolve, inch
towards such success.
But through our earthly days,
we who walk with HIS SPIRIT,
On self is not found
our soul’s upwards gaze.
Rather! Centered on CHRIST
WHOSE love solely redeemed
us, so “Highest!” we gain
because HE paid it ALL!
As HIServant to be elevated into Heaven one day with you since HIS finished work paid our way…once and for all,

Now in this life, the “next level” can be reached with great exercise of will and body.
Yes, with determined dedication
on the specific goal ahead and above us.
So with daily rigor and study, perseverance and follow through,
…one can bridge the gap between
a lower position and the “next
level up.”
Focus then is marketed to what the individual can do by working out more, trying harder till overcoming as such.
But that’s not how Heaven is reached!
Rather! It’s total surrender in HIS Finished Work.
Then our disciplined efforts aren’t to gain Heaven.
They’re instead meant to walk in those good works HE designed for us from before the beginning of Time itself.
So disregard the calls by the flesh for Self Justification.
Rather! Serve HIM relentlessly WHO already justified you!
