1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS HIS SON cleanses us from all sin.”
Clothed in Righteousness!
From all uncleanness
cleansed whiter than snow;
Made whole through HIS
blood-bought Redemption.
Saved from ourselves
without merit nor strength,
so we cling to CHRIST’s
robes of Salvation.
Transport then HIS message
of endless forgiveness!
Yea, trumpet those words which
GOD spoke through The Book!
For the LORD wasn’t sent
to clean dirty laundry
but to purify souls with
HIS spotless Love!
So love in like manner
through Life thus reflecting
the change of clothes given
to enter the wedding!
As HIServant and you also only allowed into The Wedding wearing HIS robes of Righteousness,

Devotional: Isaiah 64:6 “Each of us has become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.”
So to walk into a wedding wearing only filthy rags will quickly get you escorted or even thrown out.
Contrast this with Isaiah 61:10: “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall exult in my GOD, for HE has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
…HE has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels”.
How great CHRIST’s sacrifice which made these robes for us! How great HIS love which cannot be imitated, substituted or added to by one thread!
It’s CHRIST and CHRIST alone, our cornerstone. HE is our Bridegroom and coming King and so, let us be humbled, contrite as those trembling at HIS WORD for joy!
