Proverbs 11:2 “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.”
Casting Up Glory!

One might bolster Self’s pride when having obtained greater knowledge than that of their peers.
Insincerely applying their heightened awareness, so Trust fades and soon…disappears.
“Don’t be hard on yourself!” so the Shadows suggest. What you’ve learned shines a light on your life!”
You have earned the attention that’s given “those smarter! So soak it all in…it’s your right!”
But the WORD of GOD through HIS voice of Truthtells of sacrifice – nameless – unknown;
Where all credit is lifted with haste unto JESUS WHO grants us such Wisdom – alone!
Therefore “Cast up all Glory” to HIM on the Throne; Hold back nothing from Heaven’s Light show!
As such, with a greater surrender each hour, be bent on reflecting HIS glow!
As HIServant again humbly realizing just how little I know in the
light of Glory,

Devotional: Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”
1 Corinthians 4:7 “For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive?
If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?”
It’s no surprise that in Proverbs 6:17 we are told that GOD lists a proud heart or a haughty look as the first among the things HE hates. That’s telling, amen?
Being shown correction and then great mercy and grace in the next breath is overwhelming! We must cast off the leanings of our flesh to elevate ourselves.
We must admit anything we know has come from GOD’s provision. Yes we study and choose a disciplined walk with HIM. BUT! HE alone gives the increase!
1 Corinthians 3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase!”
Therefore! No matter what we gain, no matter the effort we singularly put in or with others…no increase comes except from GOD!
Let us, oh my soul, be rebroken to reflect just HIS heart’s crimson glow!
Amen and amen.
