John 1:1 “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD.”
CHRIST, the WORD!

Fool’s treasure/
Self’s pleasures
prove worthless
as “gains”…
With diluted,
convoluted,
and valueless
claims.
For such seeks
the world; after
such they all
chase!
So value the gold
of THE WORD…
Yes! HIS NAME!
As HIServant sorting through my own pockets and thoughts to gather only the GOLD of GOD,

Devotional: Matthew 23:16-19 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing,
Goodbut if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’
17 You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?
18 And you say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gift that is on the altar, he is bound by his oath.’
19 You blind men! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred?” Amen?
Consequently, what the world and our own flesh highly values is in opposition to the treasures of GOD.
The mixing of both kinds of treasure will dilute the importance of GOD’s wealth in our lives while elevating material gains.
The gold of the temple was even errantly used as collateral for prayer but GOD!
We seek HIS treasure and add to our own vessels through study of HIS WORD and faithful service which is humble.
Pursue then HIS treasures which are found in CHRIST, the very WORD of GOD!
John 1:14 “And the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen HIS glory,
…glory as of the only SON from the FATHER, full of grace and truth!” Hallelujah!
Amen and amen.
