Elevation’s Assigned Timing!
To be passed by, ignored and
walked over,
although “next in line” still
found waiting…
…is more than some slight
or mistake when one’s life
is engaged in the best
of behaviors.
So it seems as what we
perceive – earthly.
But GOD knows our
times for Promotion!
Uniquely assigned
and distinctly defined,
with such blest moments
never gained – early!
So remind us of Joseph and Esther
till we pause without any complaining!
For all our Life’s threads
YOU both weave AND extend
WHEN the time is right for…
the next level!

Devotional: James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE shall lift you up.”
Rarely does someone smile over and over again after not being promoted when they truly deserve it.
What’s difficult is the scenery. Meaning: We can’t see the thread of promotion 6 years from now. We can’t see that we need adjoining threads NOW which seem to take us off course.
HIS weaving, perfect and sovereign, is something we can’t believe part-time in.
GOD has taken me down paths just to witness to a person that I wouldn’t have seen if HE’d lifted me WHEN I thought I should be.
So Joseph in prison, seeming to decline all those years and Esther appearing as a potential candidate to be queen when she just wanted her “behind-the-scenes” life…
Both speak of WHEN GOD chose to do things and how, with daily and zealous trust in HIM…we will be elevated when we should be…and thank GOD! Not a moment sooner!
Psalm 3:3 “But YOU, O LORD, are a Shield about me, my Glory, and the Lifter of my head!”
