For Pilgrims’ Progression!
Advancing through life
this naturally seems
to be certain as
if it’s a given.
Expectantly set,
with goals and with hopes,
yet too often such gains
soon go missing.
This surely because
our sight has left CHRIST.
Instead “looking behind”,
we get caught in what was!
Whether long ago wins
or each loss found with Sin,
Looking backwards subtracts
from our blessings.
Being trapped within pasts,
Progress then runs off track.
But! Take heart and the hand…
of our SAVIOUR!
For HIS view is forward
and upwardly – purposed!
So each gaze back to
history…opposes.
Draw then nigh to CHRIST
through all days and each night!
Seeking always ahead for…
HIS presence!

Each and every soul is on a pilgrimage. It’s a journey to wherever their heart is leading them.
Since only some are worthy, the other paths – even in review – can delay or distract from the favor of GOD…
…and cause us undue worry, concern, fear and anxiety.
So we must not neglect the gift of boldness HE deposited within each soul who believes in HIM.
We cannot be found errantly and daily doubting HIS plans for us which…are guaranteed to do what?
Give us a certain Hope and an eternal future with HIM!
As such! For each Pilgrim’s Progress, look just to JESUS Today… and follow HIS footprints AND gaze to the next day and Tomorrow till HE returns!
