John 15:4 “Abide in ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in ME”.
Our Subsidized Housing!

Oh woe to such flesh
claiming independence…
as if set apart FROM
the presence of GOD.
Yes! Woe to such foolish
and faithless of vessels
who claim “Self Sustaining!”
with arrogant thoughts.
Do we not know that,
as gloves HE created,
so we have no life…
save HIS own within us!
Yea, rise then, my soul,
by HIS power indwelling,
leading those who feel empty
…to again lift their hands!
As HIServant speaking to you and myself most of all to again lift your hands of praise to our precious SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST,

Devotional: Philippians 4:12-13 “I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.”
“I can do all things through HIM WHO strengthens me!”
“Our Subsidized Housing!” came to my mind as a title first. Not the poem or even any of the devotional. Instead just the solemn nature of what that phrase means.
Without our LORD, we are completely empty. Lifeless spiritually. In fact, we’d have no breath had HE not sovereignly designed us in time past…for this very moment!
So I look again with reverent reflection to all which HE has done in me, through me and! In spite OF me.
My dearest friends, this new year…let us relent from our false shields, our temporal strength and all feelings of self sufficiency.
Yes, let us again lay at HIS feet with the greatest of all praise…
…Today!
Amen and amen! 🙏
