Hebrews 9:5 “Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.”
For the Glory that Awaits!
We try to imagine the next life
with the word pictures painted through Scripture…
and attempt to envision HIS
Glory surrounding
our newly formed vessels as “Finally Home!” victors.
What scenery that yet here
escapes us!
So with Zeal, we reread
those verses…
which bring greater emotion
and longing to see HIM.
LORD JESUS! Enlighten our
eyes with YOUR kingdom!
Thus! This morning with Bible
open…through its lines so I’m walking through Heaven!
Ever seeking HIS face till held
in HIS embrace,
let us daily as sightseers walk through HIS WORD!

Devotional: Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
…whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
…if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Every time I read a verse about Heaven, my mind starts to wander.
My thoughts drift to trying to comprehend what just being there means!
Passing through the veil of this life into eternity is an event most think about often.
While we continue to serve HIM with faith and strength here, I’d encourage all to read HIS WORD even more.
Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
Matthew 6:32 describes that GOD knows everything we need so verse 33 is aligned as well.
As HE says in Philippians 4:8 which describe what Heaven is, let us focus on seeking first HIS kingdom and all things that we need by HIS will…shall be added to us!
