Matthew 23:12 “But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
Surrender’s Ascension!
A king bears a sceptre,
a symbol of rulers
who measures out Justice,
deciding with power.
So the KING of all kingdoms
WHO forever reigns sovereign
planned lifting ups, casting downs
through a slew of appointments.
Anointing determines success
and without HIS no soul will
succeed.
Consequently I must choose surrender till HIS sceptre’s
extended to me!
The same still holds true for each life; HE’s the KING of all kings,
even GOD!
As such, give HIM reverence and praises every morning through
evening…amen!

Devotional: Psalm 147:6 “The LORD lifts up the humble; HE casts the wicked to the ground.”
Proverbs 27:2 “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.”
There’s no shortage of learning that can be gained. Many do very well. But there’s also those that get by and others that drop out.
The differentiator in GOD’s economy is who HE chooses to lift up and who HE chooses to set down.
That’s HIS sovereign and perfect will.
If we look at Numbers 17, we see a profoundly obvious example of HIS choosing.
In verse 5 we read, “And the staff of the man whom I choose shall sprout. Thus I will make to cease from me the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against you.”
Then in verse 8, GOD’s sovereignty crushes those rebelling against Moses and Aaron.
“On the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony, and behold, the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.”
Wow! From a bare, cut branch to whole almonds the next morning!
That’s GOD!
So may we all do our very best and always surrender every outcome to whatever The KING has planned for our lives!
