Romans 12:9 “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Faithfully Running!

Instinct drives every animal forward. It compels them to flee or fight danger.
Based on the level of threat, they react with great speed fueled by “Need for survival!”
Then whenever one species has gathered with its grouping of just the same kind…
Fleeing and Fighting continue to happen because that is the way GOD designed.
So why do humans made in HIS own image, with gifts of both Knowledge and Wisdom…
choose rather to fight WITH the sin which they choose than to flee before coming a victim?
Scripture plainly instructs us, “Flee Evil!” but with confidence in HIM WHO saves us!
Whether thought-filled locations or physically present, avoid Sin by clinging to JESUS!
As HIServant encouraging all to grasp daily the Heavenly hand of the LORD and thus defeat the instincts, intuitions and inclinations of our old nature,

Devotional: 1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Reject every kind of evil.” Some translations use the words “Abstain” or “Stay away from”.

But those issue a command without any sense of real urgency!
So…how many CHRISTians are winning the battle against inward instincts of the flesh?
Perhaps a better question is: “How many appear strong and resolute on the outside yet inside struggle in a raging war?”
One more question: “How many flee every instance and kind of evil – QUICKLY and CONSISTENTLY?” Consider Proverbs 4:14-15.
“Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of the evil. 15 Avoid it; do not go on it; turn away from it and pass on.”
The issue of sin is one the CHRISTian faces daily.
AND! Like Paul said in Romans 7:15 “For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.”
So we can’t cast off this vessel of flesh we currently live in but we can be victorious by fleeing evil promptly! Amen?
Whether with gossip, backbiting, pride, control, manipulation, lust, lying, and…you fill in your own blank,
We must have verses memorized to combat those instances when we’re immediately confronted with such.
Repetition of powerful anti-evil Bible verses is not chanting. Make no mistake!
CHRIST used Scripture to combat satan who had no power of HIM!
The LORD used the WORD of GOD which HE is, amen?
So be encouraged in your walk and extend GOD’s strength to those who struggle.
Yes, take hold and even cling to WHO is always good, our LORD and constant SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST!
Be found daily faithfully running with CHRIST and…from the devil!
Amen and amen.
