Hebrews 12:7-8 “It is for discipline that you have to endure. GOD is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?”
HIS Loving Discipline!

Problems (as we define them)
are more often
misinterpreted.
Most challenges we
label as “excessive”
and “needless.”
Beloved, how far goes
our Sight? How deep
can we “see” in this
lifetime?
With “surface level”
perceptions, we’re
“limited” at best.
So regarding such details,
HE perfectly knows
all our footsteps.
Those found past,
present and future…
HE’s already known.
With each barrier’s
measure, inquire of the
LORD for discernment.
Then no wall nor an obstacle
shall get lost in translation!
As HIServant still learning each conflict and contrast HE uses for my good,

Devotional: Hebrews 12:8 “If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.”

What’s that saying? Is our flesh as interested in the answer as our spirit is? Hmm?
GOD is telling us as our FATHER…if HE doesn’t discipline us as HIS children, then we’re illegitimate children.
What’s that saying then? That we NEED HIS correction to be transformed into HIS image as we prepare for eternity in Heaven.
Look back at verse 4. HE states through the writer, “In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.”
In our chase to overcome obstacles in life, we’ve not shed our own blood to overcome the greatest of all barriers. The sin problem!
So temporary blood loss, even the self harm of cutting, does not suffice. It’s not good enough. It isn’t HIS will.
Rather! It’s HIS own shedding of blood unto death, in our place, that did and still does. Hallelujah!
So what gratitude and celebration should fill our hearts and overpour through our vessels with HIS praise!
Hebrews 12:11 “For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”
Therefore, Beloved and this Self as well, let’s embrace HIS WORD daily with zealous study. Then!
Then we will know what HIS loving discipline is versus when we’re off course. We’ll know whether to keep pressing in or to get back on track! Amen?
Amen and amen.
