Job 42:1-2 “Then Job answered the LORD and said: “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”
Being HIS Blessing!

We are simple clay vessels
with scratches and fractures
whose blessings appear
the more steadfast we stand.
So Job, greatly burdened
by satan who furthered
his pain, in the end also
questioned YESHUA.
Yet such was with purpose
for us to reflect on.
Job’s learning extends then
to you and me too.
Therefore! Plant your feet deepest
in HIS footprints – likewise!
Be well seen as steadfast
And well known as still standing!
Even through sorrow and pain,
oh my Soul! Praise HIS NAME
and be found lifting others…
at the very same time!
As HIServant acknowledging the difficulty of staying strong but realizing, through Job, what a blessing it is to remain steadfast in faith for those who watch,

Devotional: James 5:11 “Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast.
You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the LORD,
…how the LORD is compassionate and merciful.”
Job lost everything. He was told by his wife to “Curse GOD and die!” Children, possessions, happiness…all gone.
Yet we follow through the book of Job and realize that his struggles were severe and that he questioned GOD just like we do.
However, though satan was allowed to afflict Job, he couldn’t take his life.
Even though death happened to other family members, it couldn’t reach Job.
When GOD was talking to Job out of the whirlwind, perhaps it became clearer to him that GOD had a purpose in all of this.
Why was his life spared? Decades ago I wrote a poem which pointed out the GOD was showing the devil what HE would do for a steadfast man.
Job had lived an upright life. Everyone told him his troubles were because of secret sins or unconfessed errors.
But GOD brought him through that horrific storm as an example to us every day! HE is bringing us through either by HIS soon coming or to the next day as a witness for HIM.
Just like Job was.
So let us be steadfast, firm and secure in HIS footprints and regardless if Understanding accompanies us in that moment, we keep praising and trusting our CREATOR as HE purposes.
Amen? Yes, Amen!
