1 Corinthians 10:31 “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of GOD.”
Being HIS Reverent Eyewitness!
People today don’t fear THE LORD as the disciples who walked with HIM.
Because Today doesn’t have eyewitness testimony like the twelve had, JESUS isn’t held in the same high regard.
Deep Reverence has been often exchanged for temporary “mountain top” music climbs.
But that’s not the fear of the LORD.
Paul said in James 2:19, “You believe that GOD is ONE; you do well; (but) the demons also believe and tremble!”
This isn’t any accusation nor condemnation.
Rather it’s a bold statement to wake up the lukewarm.
To reignite those whose spiritual fires just blaze once on Sunday for an hour…if that.
Then what does their perpetual smoldering show throughout the weeks, months and years?
Oh my Soul! Knowing James 2:19 is in The WORD of GOD, bend then the knee quickly and press your chin furthest into your chest!
Aren’t those the very words in the song by Casting Crowns?
“Oh my Soul! You are not alone…
There’s a place where fear has to face THE GOD you know!”
Then HE shall show you great and mighty things which only come to those who tremble before HIM daily with joyously reverent fear!
THEN! You shall testify to HIS glorious power as HIS faithful and devoted eyewitness!

My sermon for tomorrow Sunday, the 8th, is about Psalm 49.
It’s about the fear of the LORD and serving HIM relentlessly!
But since we don’t physically see the LORD like the disciples did, our attentions fade.
So fear GOD with a daily zeal and serve HIM just like you see HIM face to face every hour!
