In The Best Light of All!
With hollow reminders some try to ignite
certain shadows that long have been gone.
Like…distant memories of things which had happened
or of someone whose life was withdrawn.
So when lost in such thoughts are we wandering,
more time slips away from the Present.
There we yearn for a span which can never return
which gets added to what we’re NOW missing.
So spend most of this life looking forward to CHRIST
by engaging in Thought’s loss prevention.
Then Now’s sights, with more time, will join you through life
in the best light of all, HIS attention!

Devotional: John 8:12 “Again JESUS spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows ME will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life.”
Another way to put this is in regards to talking.
If someone stares off to the side as they’re speaking with you, are they fully vesting in the conversation? Perhaps not.
If someone were to have their back to you and ask a question, wouldn’t you question why they weren’t facing you?
So it is with our pasts. We can’t permit daily slivers of reflection to build up into large sections of, dare I say, dead time.
Memories can be wonderful and a joy to visit at times but not with daily repetition…at the cost of the present moment.
Hence the need for Thought’s loss prevention!
So let us awaken today with full sights on this hour…to help others also stay watchful!
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS HIS SON cleanses us from all sin!”
