2 Peter 1:17 “For when he received honor and glory from GOD the FATHER, and the voice was borne to HIM by the Majestic Glory, “This is MY Beloved SON,i with WHOM I am well pleased,”
THE Voice!
As each sound which surrounds
us increases with Time,
so we make certain labels
and give them a name.
With many “unique” and some
called as “just like”…
So the rest seem too “close”
to discern.
But there’s only ONE WHOSE
voice sounds like no other;
To HIM must we listen
with greatest Intention…
…since countless distractions
shout louder each day.
From HIM then choose
solely to learn!
Still my humbled concern
with Revival this hour:
“The staying power” needed
has faded to gray!”
Thus go back to those sparks
now requiring “fanning”…
and speak with HIS Voice
till they burst into flame!

Devotional: Matthew 17:5 “While Peter was still speaking, a bright Cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the Cloud said, “This is MY beloved SON, in WHOM I am well pleased. Listen to HIM!”
Mark 9:7 “Then a Cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the Cloud: “This is My beloved SON. Listen to HIM!”
Luke 9:35 “And a voice came from the Cloud, saying, “This is MY SON, WHOM I have chosen. Listen to HIM!”
Matthew 3:17 “And a voice from heaven said, “This is MY Beloved SON, in WHOM I am well pleased!”
John 12:28 “FATHER, glorify YOUR NAME!” Then a voice came from Heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”
THE Voice, GOD’s voice, is WHO we must be listening to with both zeal and intent.
HE has already spoken; The WORD is before us.
HE speaks to us through IT as we open it to be fed AND take the time to digest AND apply every word.
My application then is not the passing of the torch.
Rather it’s to “share the Fire” once more for those whose staying power has faded.
And! Should your torch is flickering, be reignited then by listening intently just to HIS Voice!
