Awaiting our Final Surrender!
We give YOU our lives,
surrendering twice,
first on Salvation day
then through blessings and
pain for YOU’re our CREATOR…
and KING!
But when comes the hour
we’re drawn by YOUR pow’r,
to the end of this life
by YOUR purpose on time
then we’ll forfeit once more…
all we were!
So come JESUS come
as our Victor WHOSE won!
May our final breaths soar on
wings back to THEE, LORD!
Yes, our souls wait with great
expectation!

Devotional: James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to GOD. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
It’s not the hungriest of souls who carries a dusty bible. Nor can a lukewarm CHRISTian ignite others with GOD’s spiritual fires.
When we first come to Salvation, we’re quite willing to surrender our will. But as Life proceeds, we’ve had to fight a continuous battle to maintain such a fleshly forfeit.
So let us serve with fiery spiritual intent while we wait for the LORD’s return!
