Exampling HIS NAME!

Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the NAME of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to GOD the FATHER through HIM.”

Exampling HIS NAME!

When walls close in and
curtains close, there’s
ample reason, worldly
speaking…to throw
in the towel
and complain.

But for those of the Body
of Faith, surrender in
CHRIST brings freedom to
light though Life’s
shadows still cling
with their pains.

And thus Paul praised GOD
through his chains!
Though bound, yet
determined he kneeled as
HIServant…exampling how
we should obey!

As HIServant, standing to serve intentionally and relentlessly, working with you bringing Glory to GOD,

Devotional: Acts 9:17 “So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said,

“Brother Saul, the LORD JESUS WHO appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT.””

Sometimes all the doors close.

That’s just one of the realities that can happen. But GOD! HE never leaves and weaves all things together for our good!

But in prison it didn’t feel like that to the other prisoners. They didn’t have the example which GOD gave Paul through Ananias of Damascus.

Here’s a man who knew Paul was a killer. He knew the savagery that Saul (now Paul) had waged against the saints.

While Ananias voiced his concerns and his doubts, he exampled CHRIST by healing a very undeserving enemy (former) of the Gospel.

So when the walls seem to have closed in, be the same example of faith to all those watching.

Show all that your hope and trust are found in the person and work of JESUS CHRIST! (Spoken most of all to myself!)

Amen and amen.
